Christmas Celebrations – The focal place for Christmas celebrations in Palestine is Bethlehem, however solemn festivities can be enjoyed in other cities as well. There is a lot of thematic musical concerts, theatre shows or Christmas bazaars that take place all over the country.

There are various Christian denominations living in Palestine, which follow different liturgical calendars. For example, Christmas in Bethlehem is celebrated there times, with the famous solemn scout processions that take place on the three Christmas Eves – on 24th of December (Catholic and Protestant denominations), on 6th of January (Orthodox, Syriacs, Ethiopians) and on the 18th of January (Armenians). This gives a possibility of experiencing Christmas in Palestine without skipping the celebrations with your family in your country.
