This five-day program will take hikers through the agricultural villages of Jenin and Nablus. In addition to the beautiful natural landscapes and energizing views, there are plenty of landmarks to encounter, such as the Burqin Church. The trail passes not only through the agricultural fields covered with cabbages and tobacco but also through beautifully preserved old villages like Arraba or Sanur, where traditional Palestinian hospitality awaits the travelers. On the last day of the journey, the walkers will reach Nablus, a city that will captivate them with its history, setting, and hospitality. This grand city is located between two mountains - Gerizim and Ebal - and reflects the mysteries that come with a thousand-year existence.
Day 1: Rummana to Burqin, 17.80 KM | Hike through the olive groves of the north and visit the ancient church of Burqin. |
Day 2: Burqin to Arraba, 14.70 KM | Enjoy the olive harvest atmosphere and pass through the impressive Ottoman Palaces of Arraba. |
Day 3: Arraba to Sanur, 09.50 KM | Meander between the olive trees of the region, view the lush agricultural valleys and climb the steep hill to reach the Castle of Sanur. |
Day 4: Sanur to Sabastiya, 15.60 KM | This demanding hike will take you through the most interesting places in the region. Sebastiya is a home to great archaeological and architectural treasures. |
Day 5: Sabastiya to Nablus, 10.10 KM | Experience the unique atmosphere of the famous city, Nablus. Indulge yourself in tastes and fragrances of its Old City markets. |
